We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have and collect about you and your account.

Information We Gather and Use of Personal Data
To register for our Institute or any of our Services, we ask you to provide your full legal name, address, phone number, email address, education or grade level, sex, and any eating restrictions you may have in order for us to confirm your identity for our Services and make appropriate arrangements for the Institute. When you submit payment for our Service, you will be directed to the PayPal website where you will be prompted for your name, address, and payment information. Star Scholarship applicants will also be prompted for their parents’ W-2 forms, which will be destroyed after we finalize the winners of the scholarship.

We may use your name and email address to send you email notifications about the Service or Institute for which you registered, when we have new services or features on the Site, or when an issue arises specifically concerning your account, information, or payment.

Without identifying you to or sharing your personal information with third parties, Ivy League Study Skills may use general information about you to analyze our user base, aggregate information about different groups of our participants, and personalize advertisements and promotions so that we can provide you with our services. We use this information primarily to inform us of our own Service and Site and how we can make them work even better for you and future Users.

We will never knowingly share your personal information with a third party for any reason, unless we believe, at our sole discretion, that we are required by law to disclose your information to enforce the law, our User Agreement, or our Privacy Policy. We may also collect your browser type and IP address when you access our Site and use “cookies” to store some information.

By accessing and using the Ivy League Study Skills Site or Service, you acknowledge and agree to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States and to terms and conditions as stated in the Ivy League Study Skills Terms of Use.

Security
Ivy League Study Skills respects the security of your personal information and takes appropriate precautions to protect your information. Your User Content and account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. In the event that you register for our Service and are prompted to enter sensitive personal information (credit card number), we encrypt that information using secure technology. Although we utilize standard industry protocol to protect your private information that is submitted to us online, we cannot guarantee that other third parties will not gain access to our database. In addition, we cannot and will not be responsible for any actions taken by third parties who access and search our database.

Minors under Age 18
We recommend that minors who are under eighteen (18) years old, but over thirteen (13), ask their parents or legal guardians for permission to access our Site and register for any of our services, unless the student is a college student.

Ivy League Study Skills does not solicit or knowingly collect personal information, or any information that is in any way connected to our Services, from anyone under the age of thirteen (13) or knowingly allow such persons to register for our Services. No one under thirteen (13) should attempt to register for our Services without express written consent from a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to refuse Service at any moment and without notice to you, at our sole discretion, if we learn or believe that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of thirteen (13) without verification of parental consent.

Terms of Use, Notices and Revisions
By accessing, using, or continuing to use the Ivy League Study Skills Site or Service, you indicate that you agree with and are bound to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and that you represent and warrant that you are authorized to and capable of agreeing to this. Your use of Ivy League Study Skills, and any consequences arising from it, is subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and all of its limitation on damages, loss, and liability. We reserve the right to add to, modify, or change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time and without notification to you for any reason or no reason. Changes, additions, and clarifications take effect immediately. It is your responsibility to regularly check and review the Site for any modifications to the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy. You can distinguish changes, additions, or modifications have been made by the policy’s new effective date, which we will post at the top of the page. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, you may not use or access our Service or Site.
